SMartSLAM (SAP License Asset Management) is a solution developed by SMB to assist SAP customers optimise their SAP licensing estate.
With the increased focus on cost management and license compliance IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) are in the spotlight, but neither in isolation is capable of delivering the full benefit of an integrated solution.

SMartSlam is the result of many years of dealing with SAP license estate issues on a daily basis. We have developed methodologies and tools that make the task of Optimising and using your SAP license estate much easier and simpler than it has been up till now.

- To prepare for an SAP License Review/SAP audit or address individual license issues.
To understand their SAP position as a platform for an SAP negotiation or cost reduction exercise (20% cost reductions are typical if well managed).
SMartSlam can be a one-off exercise to help with individual license issues or it can be part of a wider strategy to ensure that you are always in control of your licensing costs and with the added reassurance of compliance.
